Awesome! I just found your website and blog a few hours ago, via the Class of 2K10 website, and added Split to my to-read shelf. I am doing a month of debut YA authors on my modest blog in May, although I may not be able to wait that long. We'll see.
The music is royalty-free stuff from Kevin MacLeod's site http://www.incompetech.com. He writes ad and movie music. The artwork is selected from public domain images on wikipedia commons and istockphoto stuff, and then doctored through Photoshop into a common "cut out" look. The morphing transitions were done using Morpheus and the whole thing spliced together using Premiere Elements.

I am the author of Split (Knopf and Listening Library, 2010). I'm working on my second novel for Knopf currently, finishing my MFA at the University of Minnesota, teaching creative writing, parenting two kids, and, on occasion, sleeping.

Cool! What's the music, and who did the artwork?
